Bright APP but no IHD

Can we install and configure the Bright Android APP if we don't have the original IHD? We have a Smart Meter but I'm not sure if the IHD was ever supplied or has just gone missing.

We became stuck at the point where the APP asked us for the MAC Address from the rear of the IHD which we don't have, or is this info available from the Smart Meter itself?
