Network Reliability
Have just signed up using DCC access earlier in the week and am affected by current outage. I'm interested in upgrading to the CAD USB stick so I can get realtime access to my electricity & gas usage but am curious to know what the general reliability of the system is like - is this week unusual or are there regular outages? What's people's experience like with it? I'm using the system integrated with Home Assistant - is there any way to avoid cloud altogether and process everything locally?

I've had a CAD USB for a while, and whilst I've had minor blips very occasionally, the outage this week is the largest I've seen - I also have it integrated into Home Assistant.
Sadly it relies on their cloud based API and their own MQTT broker currently, although I'm hoping that after this week they are going to consider local access to those who want it.
