Content suggestions for our new Glowmarkt site
Hello all and happy Friday.
We are planning to relaunch our Glowmarkt site in the next weeks (and will include the smart tariff comparison tool) - so now is your chance to let us know what content you'd find useful. We'll add our API documentation, and some more technical FAQ, etc. as well as any other good ideas you might come up with.
Look forward to hearing your suggestions and wish everyone a good weekend.
https://glowmarkt.com/register.html needs improvement. I've been through that page more than once yet it treats me as a "new user" every time I re-visit.
Store a token in a cookie and don't ask all the MPAN etc. questions all over again (unless the cookie has expired).
Thanks Dougie - have you registered with our Bright App? that just asks you the once and then you have permanent access to your data flows.
API access is automatic; you use your Bright credentials. Further information here : Repository URL - https://bitbucket.org/ijosh/brightglowmarkt/src/master/
The Bright Application ID is b0f1b774-a586-4f72-9edd-27ead8aa7a8d
And any specific questions, drop a line to email@example.com.
Thanks for taking the time to add the suggestion. Jane
I do have the BrightApp and I am using the MQTT API (which is very good and reliable with the latest firmware on my IHD). I was just looking to tinker with the stuff on the Glowmarkt website, but it's to much of a pain to get it working.
Which definitely means we need to fix/improve it :)
I would find it useful to have the year displayed with the date for each post and response. It's difficult to know whether the posts are recent or old.
Thanks Tim - that's a good idea. I'll ask the Admin if we can change the settings.
Happy New Year!
As per my other posting, please can you add the means to download Gas data as CSV like the electricity data - this would be brilliant.
oh and please can you fix the issue where the CSV download seems to be limited to one year of data from the anniversary date of smart meter installation. Logging out and back in updated the graph (refreshing the page didnt seem to do anything) but the CSV still doesn't show any data past 19th July.
Hi @wallport - a couple of customers have been building solutions to solve the csv issue - could you email me at support and then I've got your details for when the material is available, thank you!
