@clivee Thanks for that - works like a charm.
-
Clive, did you get a chance to look at my MQTT reporting frequency?
-
@clivee Any luck analysing my MQTT interval?
-
I'm getting 15 locally quite often, sometimes 10. [EDIT] Sequence is actually 10 10 10 15. Sorry for the confusion.
-
Working fine. One question - could the reporting interval be shortened at all?
-
Wonderful Clive!
-
Working fine here for the last 3 hours at least. Well done! And thanks for keeping us up to date.
-
Same here. App says "Glow display SMETS 2 does not have internet"
-
Arguments for local MQTT access. It would place you in a unique market position as being the first to offer this. A great marketing argument. You would sell more CAD's. I know from the Octopus forum, that non-local access to data is the main reaso…

Thanks @JaneatGlow!
-
@JaneatGlow Have a good evening yourself. What sort of time frame is the return of the MQTT feed expected?
-
Still no MQTT here either.
-
Still down here!
-
@JaneatGlow :)

If you are not exporting energy just treat InstantaneousDemand as unsigned.

I am on Agile, so no real point in sending a support ticket. Probably a threshold thing. The app is coming on just fine!
-
Well done! I am having some small issues with the 30 minute and 1h display in cost mode. In the night some bars are completely missing. In energy mode there are no gaps. It would be nice if one could upload screenshots here to illustrate this.
-
Thanks for the information!
-
Thank you! Got me all excited about 5 now :)
-
It would be lovely to have a little more detailed description of the firmware updates detailed above. They are, apart from 2, pretty cryptic!
-
Very interesting article, thanks for sharing!
-
Actually, I think that is incorrect, as the LQI values I have been converting are the same values as shown in the CAD display, I just checked!
-
Good to know marrold. And my MQTT feed just went down :(
-
Yes, signed integer, took me a while that one : ) . I believe that LQI has a maximum of 255, I have a pretty constant RSSI -71 LQI 116 and have had no dropouts for 4 days. I am logging dropouts to a file just to check.
-
The MQTT JSON contains RSSI and LQI and Status so it is easy to monitor connectivity. I have been monitoring RSSI and LQI (Node-red - InfluxDB -Grafana) to check the signal quality as I had a few dropouts.

Edited to reflect the firmware changes in 1.5.2 0402 corrected to 0430 (current week consumption delivered), 0403 corrected to 0440 (current month consumption delivered). [{"id":"9b7d3c88.76a5","type":"function&quo…

After inspecting my OVO MQTT data I have written a node red function node to extract the relevant data. If you set your MQTT in node to output a parsed JSON object, connect it to this function node and connect a debug node set to display the complet…
