@johng mine look exactly the same as yours. The cumulativevolunits is m3, the dayweekmonthvolunits are kWh. It is the gas meter itself that provides the info and the units is my understanding, perhaps @clive could confirm?
-
Is that why I seem to have reverted to firmware 1.8.4 this morning and lost all MQTT @clivee?
-
Thanks Clive

@clivee - I think I already know the answer to this but will ask anyway ... IHD/CAD already displays instantaneous/daily/weekly/monthly/yearly costs for electricity and gas, and assuming this is obtained from the ESME, can some (instantaneous and da…

And it seems that Z is acceptable in the ISO format as well. And if PHP has an issue with it, then maybe this will help https://php.watch/versions/8.0/date-utc-p-format#:~:text=The%20difference%20between%20P%20and,42%3A34%2B00%3A00

The reply was to the comment from Dougie who stated that the timestamp is local time. Which it isn't on mine, it is UTC. Are you referring to ISO 8601?
-
The repo has just been updated to include some of the data from the STATE topic as well :)
-
Timestamp on mine seems to be Zulu time Message 2 received on glow/xxxxx/STATE at 17:20: { "software": "v1.8.12", "timestamp": "2022-06-13T16:20:32Z", "hardware": "GLOW-IHD-01-1v4-SMETS2&q…

Thanks Clive - was just a thought :)

Another thought on the gas MQTT Jane - the updates on the HAN are only every 30 mins from the GSME. So there is no need to publish an MQTT message every 10 secs for gas as there is no 'live' data. The instantaneous gas power field is not required ei…

Anyone else getting an issue with the Glow CAD keep rebooting intermittently after local mqtt is enabled?
-
Spoke too soon - seems to be on a go slow again
-
CAD to meter is unrelated I would have thought. Thats a HAN thing. The usual fix when my supplier IHD decides to lose connection is to power it off for a few minutes and then power it back on
-
I haven't had any drop outs since 00:04BST today, so looks like whatever it was may have been fixed
-
I seem to be getting an hourly disconnect? 2022-04-08 09:01:55 WARNING (Thread-3) [homeassistant.components.mqtt] Disconnected from MQTT server glowmqtt.energyhive.com:8883 (7) 2022-04-08 09:32:09 WARNING (Thread-3) [homeassistant.components.mqtt] D…

I've had repeated interruptions to the mqtt feed since yesterday as well

Bright gets its pricing from your ESME (same as your IHD does) - so it is reliant on your supplier updating the tariffs on your ESME
-
In which case you might want to tell Hildebrand which tariff you are on - you only get the Agile screen if you tell them you are on Agile I thought
-
Look in the app itself under Support - FAQ's ?
-
@barneyd I'm not sure that 'most' users are harvesting and processing real time MQTT data themselves TBH. I would have thought the majority of the users of Bright do not own a Glow/stick and are using the half hour delayed data from the DNO in the B…

It's fairly simple I would have thought - anyone who exceeds a 'fair usage' limit gets their account disabled or severely rate limited? Or the cricket bat ...

Thanks Jane
