DCC Data Only Changes
Today we are making a temporary change in our free DCC only data service.
There is NO change to the overnight process that obtains 48 readings for the previous day.
At the moment there is an API which you can call to request a catchup during the day.
This call will be limited to once every 2 hours.
This is sadly due to us awaiting an upgrade in capacity on our connection to the DCC.
Once the upgrade has occurred (and no I don’t have exact timings but it is weeks rather than days)
we will resume the ability to request half hourly catchup.
You do not need to make any changes - it is just that any API requests for catchup that is more frequent
than 2 hourly will be ignored.
Obviously if you require a higher frequency our IHD can supply more or less realtime.

Hello there, any update on the upgrade? When can we get the 30 mins update? Thanks!
I am sorry to say but we are still waiting on the DCC line to be upgraded - we are on our third visit from openreach who have so far failed to install the new line.
We live in hope for soon(ish)
