New Smart Meters
I registered with the Bright App several years ago but my Smart Meters stopped sending data to DCC in Apr 2024. When I look under ‘Devices’ in the App it states that my electric meter was last seen Apr 30 2024. My gas meter has never been seen by the Bright App.
I have been trying to get my energy supplier to sort this out since Apr 2024 and today some action has eventually been taken. My supplier has installed two new Smart meters and hub today so I was hoping that I would now be able to see data in the Bright app. The Bright app is aware that the new meters and hub were installed and commissioned at 12.00 hrs today because, under Settings > Consent & Meter Management, I can see the details of the new meters and hub. However, the details of the old meters are still stored under the Devices option.
Do I need to do something to get the details of the new equipment transferred to the Devices page so that the App starts collecting data from the new meters?
