New CAD not connecting to electricity meter, what next ?

Hi,

CAD arrived today, plugged it to power. Connected it to WiFi. The CAD has automatically detected the gas meter but hasn’t connected to electricity meter yet. There’s no instructions manual in the package. How do I connect the CAD to electricity meter - does it involve ringing my energy provider ?
