        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi.</p><p>I have the bright app and also download meter readings via the api.  I also have solar and therefore export on occasion.   When exporting the app and api show a negative 1/2 hour consumption.</p><p>Let us suppose for simplification  that in a 30minute period I export 1kW for 15 minutes and import 1kW for the remaining 15 minutes. The nett usage recorded by the app and api is 0kWh I believe.  However I presume that the actual charge/payment is for 1/4 kWh at the relevant import and export rates.</p><p>Have I understood this correctly?  Or does the smart meter also agregate the flows over the half hour?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I can&#39;t persuade either version (mobile app or PC webpage to display properly.  Displays report &quot;Glow Display SMETS 1 does not have Internet&quot; - however,  the IHD is reporting that it&#39;s joined to both my WiFi and the meter&#39;s.  Moreover,  my Python apps are able to get half-hourly meter readings and save them in my database (although there have been several instances where an individual payload.JSON file  has arrived corrupted.</p><p>I realise there were some problems last night and indeed <a href="https://glowmarkt.com/support/system-incidents" rel="nofollow">https://glowmarkt.com/support/system-incidents</a> is still reporting that a full recovery hasn&#39;t been made yet.  Hopefully it will be soon.</p><p>My query is why the displays are reporting &quot;does not have Internet&quot; when it really means  &quot;could not connect to glowmarkt server ?  The message was prompting me to reboot my PCs and router to try and correct situation when a more accurate response wouldn&#39;t have done that.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi All</p><p>I&#39;m using Bright app to pull power and gas usage. It worked as intended since November 18th when I had smart meter installed. Noticed that gas usage is not pulled anymore after 30th December. 31st usage shows 0 until now. No issue with electricity usage, it&#39;s still getting updated every ~30min</p><p>I have logged out of the app, entered EUI once again but no change.</p><p>Noticed that gas usage is shown on smart meter provided by British Gas, but bright app showing no usage. </p><p><br /></p><p>Anyone has same experience?         <description><![CDATA[<p>I registered with the Bright App several years ago but my Smart Meters stopped sending data to DCC in Apr 2024. When I look under &lsquo;Devices&rsquo; in the App it states that my electric meter was last seen Apr 30 2024. My gas meter has never been seen by the Bright App.</p><p>I have been trying to get my energy supplier to sort this out since Apr 2024 and today some action has eventually been taken. My supplier has installed two new Smart meters and hub today so I was hoping that I would now be able to see data in the Bright app. The Bright app is aware that the new meters and hub were installed and commissioned at 12.00 hrs today because, under Settings &gt; Consent &amp; Meter Management, I can see the details of the new meters and hub. However, the details of the old meters are still stored under the Devices option.</p><p>Do I need to do something to get the details of the new equipment transferred to the Devices page so that the App starts collecting data from the new meters?</p>]]>

Landis &amp; Gyr E470.</p><p>Sixteen hours later I received the email I&#39;d been dreading &quot;Welcome to British Gas&quot;.  I&#39;d had a text on 10 Nov saying Tomato Energy had stopped trading.</p><p>Email: <code spellcheck="false">&quot;We&rsquo;re moving you on to a great-value tariff we&rsquo;ve agreed with Ofgem, so you can be confident you&rsquo;re getting a good deal.&quot;</code>.  Well if I could see the tariff then perhaps I could make that judgement for myself, the SOLR page on BG site has no info, just a postcode box which then lists scores/hundreds of tariff names.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi</p><p>I am in dispute with our supplier. We have just been through a heatwave and they claim we used 8X our normal winter gas usage in one month. &pound;960. This is based on meter readings. However their gas usage shows a more realistic &pound;50 usage in 30 minute increments.</p><p>I was hoping to use Bright App to download actual meter readings in 30 minute increments to see how and when the meter reading jumped so significantly in a short space of time. I am looking at the download data and it just shows usage, which matches the suppliers usage, but what I need are the meter readings.</p><p>Hope this makes sense? </p><p>Can anyone help?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>It&#39;s great so see the new App released yesterday.</p><p>I have tried out some of the new features but have a problem entering my new TOU tariff, Cosy Octopus. Although I have managed to enter the SC and the 3 x tariffs, only two of the tariffs are actually accepted.</p><p>I guess this means that TOU is limited to two daily rates only.</p><p>I am also having an issue trying to enter my Octopus Tracker gas tariff.</p><p>The ADD NEW tab states &quot;If you have a dynamic tariff product please select &#39;set dynamic tariff from below&#39;.</p><p>Sadly while this functionality may be functioning for electricity tariffs, it doesn&#39;t appear to have made it to the gas tariff page.</p><p>We all understand that there will probably be a few teething problems with a any new version of the App and that these will be sorted out in due course. So still happy to see the new version 🙂</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>My Glowstick has been fine for several years. I&rsquo;ve recently added a TP-link WiFi access point to improve WiFi access around the house. The Glowstick now refuses to connect directly to my router and will only connect to the new access point! It&rsquo;s really strange, the ap has the same WiFi credentials as the router and other devices can successfully connect to either device. It&rsquo;s no problem really just confusing as to why the Glowstick will not connect to the router (I use MAC filtering to choose Glowstick WiFi access). Any ideas!</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, </p><p>I moved property and went from using the old original Glow stick to the new Glow IHD unfortunately my old house / meters are show first in the Bright App and then I have to select the current house.  I appreciate this is a minor issue but would it be possible in the next / some future release to hide or order or remove old IHDs</p>]]>
